Vineyards around the Mechelerhof
There are several vineyards around our estate. One of them is the oldest vineyard in the Netherlands. Wijndomein St. Martinus has been producing red wine since 1988 and was the first to do so in the Netherlands. You will also find the highest situated vineyard in the country: Wijngoed Fromberg. You can also visit this vineyard to see how this wine is made.
The most beautiful wine routes
Did you know that you can easily combine a visit to the different vineyards? By hiking one of the different wine trails, you can visit several vineyards at the same time. These walking routes will show you the most beautiful spots of the region while you will also be able to visit different vineyards. In short, if you are a real wine lover, then a wine route is really something for you!
Wine tasting
It is fun to walk a wine route, but it is also important to taste the wines. We mentioned it above, but it is also possible to have guided tours at some vineyards. Of course, during the tour you will not only be told about the wines, but you will also get to taste them. This way, you can immediately taste which wine you like best. So don't forget to take a nice bottle of wine home with you!
