Bart Brentjens Challenge / Hammerstone
The Bart Brentjens Challenge, which will be merged with the Bokkebaggertocht to form the new Hammerstone event from 2025 onwards, will take place on the weekend of 16, 17 and 18 October 2026.
This combination of two iconic tours makes Hammerstone one of the most versatile and challenging MTB events in the Benelux. The route is inspired by the best elements of both tours and is compiled annually by former Olympic Champion and ambassador Bart Brentjens. The KNWU has also designated this event as the Dutch Mountain Bike Marathon Championship.
